The graphs below are based on a bone stock 3500 engine to help show both performance potential, and idle quality.  Blue is stock, Red is cammed.  All results are based on Dynomation Ver 5.06a.1009 and data acquired by WOT-Tech.

This stage 1 cam is excellent for stock to near stock vehicles and requires no tuning to perform well. Requires stiffer springs (LS6 Yellow Springs Recommended). Tune recommended to optimal results but not required. 9-10:1 compression recommended

Other than the lift, this cam is also Stage 1 material. However, this cam makes twice as much power differece in comparison, making it more desireable for someone that can tune. 9-10.5:1 compression recommended.

This cam is a little better on the top end and a little less potent off the line (might be a good thing for FWD) compared to the 1393 Grind above.  Because the lift is just a little over .500", the LS6 yellow springs could be used.  9-10.5:1 compression recommended.

Very similar to the 1429 cam above, but with more lift this cam will require spring seat work to use the LS6 yellow springs.  Comp 26986 Springs work great with this cam.  9-10.5:1 compression recommended.

Great in between cam for mild to moderate engine builds that require something perfectly streetable, with good throttle response and power extending into the 6000+ range.  9.5-11.5:1 compression recommended
