Forged 3400 Pistons

Diamond forged pistons are known for their quality in the racing world, and now they are available for the 60V6 engines.  These skirt coated, full floating forged pistons are made from 2618 alloy, for less thermal expansion compared to traditional forgings.  Traditional forgings need more room for expansion and cause a noticable amount of noise on cold startup, which these pistons will not do.

Available in .020 .040 and .060" overbore sizes, in either 9.5, 10.5 or 11.5:1 compression for the 3400 engine.  Compression ratio is based on stock cylinder heads, so please adjust for different heads or combustion chamber modifications.  If you need a different bore size, such as stock or .030, please select "custom" and put the size you need in the additional information field.  Other compression ratios can be done as well but are considered custom pistons compared to our off the shelf versions. 

Price includes 6 pistons, pins, and locks.  Rings are available for any piston set and include a carbon steel top ring, standard cast 2nd ring, and standard tension 3mm oil ring.  This is good for boost or NA applications.  NAPIER 2nd ring is also available for nitrous and/or heavy boost applications.

There is a 4-5 week turn around on these at the moment.  While the listed compression ratios are going to be considered a shelf piston, they have not been stocked yet as we had not had any orders until recently.  Once we have enough demand for the forged pistons, they will be stocked and available quicker.
