For valve springs that require the LS1 seats to be use, a non stock valve stem seal is required.  There are 2 versions available, for .520" and .553" OD valve guides.  94-99 3100 and 3400 engines use the orange .520" stock seals.  Everything 2000 and newer use the blue .553" stock seals
