2.8/3.1 Gen 2 (1987-1994)

Known as the Generation 2 60V6, these engines were introduced in 1987 as a 2.8, with the 3.1 arriving in 1989.  A turbo version was used in 89 and 90 for the TGP and TSTE Grand Prix models.  The 1994 Lumina and Cavalier were the last to use these engines.
