2.8/3.1/3.4 Gen 1 Iron Head

The iron head engine engine had a few variations, and all of the products on our site are made for the large main journal engines released in 1985.  Notably, the heads went from a 1.3/"  1.6" valve set to 1.42" / 1.72".  The mains were changed due to the 80-84 crankshafts breaking.  It is cheaper and easier to start with a newer iron head block for those looking to rebuild the earlier 2.8 engine.
