Product Information

This listing is for tuning only.  If you are looking for a programmed computer, please use the Performance Computer listing.

Tuning is available for 3100 and 3400 engines only!  HPTuners has removed the newer engines from our license and we are unable to offer any tuning services for those applications.

If you have HPTuners hardware, we can help you with the tuning as well as learning how to use your hardware for the 60V6 engines.  There are more experienced companies to deal with for the other engine platforms supported, but we have a considerable amount of experience specific to these engines.  That said, our pricing is based on time, for which an estimate is possible but nothing more.  Transmission tuning is also something we cover, though it is a a little more advanced in regards to personal preference rather than sensor feedback.

Because every application is different, we cannot set a 1 price for all listing.  Instead, we have set this up as a $50 starting cost, for which quantity for future purchase can be used.  This will include the channel/layout files, along with ~ 3-5 test tunes.  What all is done for a test tune?   Initially, everything we do for our performance PCM, setup for your car.  From there, mostly fueling, and any knock retard we see. Our street/strip cam with porting and 65mm TB should be able to be fully tuned in 3-5 tests.

Race cars tend to need less tuning than street cars, since their role is usually idle, cruising around on yellow flags, and full throttle/near full throttle.  Drag race can be considered about the same.  For these, expect 100-150 for custom tuning, and again, subtract 50 if you buy the hardware from us.

High compression, turbo, custom cams, etc can expect 150-250 for custom tuning.  Add transmission tuning for another 50-100.  If you are a quick learner, then you can also use these files to see what was done and finish the tune yourself at any time.  For the best results, a wideband is highly recommended.  Even if you don't have the pro version and can only watch the gauge to verbally give feedback.
