Set of 12 Manley4140 chromemoly steel retainers and machined keepers, made in the USA. 13% lighter than stock per valve and more consistant install height than Comp. Manley shaved the top of the retainer to be flush with the keepers, which gives more clearance between the retainer and the rocker arm. Titanium option available for more weight reduction on the valvetrain. Titanium retainers are not kept in stock, so please allow extra time for delivery.

	Comp on the left, Manley on the right. Same install height but the Manley is cut down flush to the retainers for more rocker clearance.

NICE TOUCH

I went with these in my daily driver just to get all I could out of the engine. I invested in the gold rocker arms and added these. I picked everything before I had the engine removed and taken to an engine shop. I did not get the titanium retainers since It was a daily driver and do not need that just a little less weight. I did so much the engine shop told me I did not miss a trick. Had I known it would really come on with premium fuel I would have gone from 9.5 to 10.5 to one compression ratio. I could not find info on compression ratio ratings for fuels, specificaly 87. On level ground and at 650 RPM factory idle it will run at 7 mph now.David A. Williamson (20 Jul 2020, 07:19)
