Designed for boost applications only. Larger exhaust valve requires new seats to be installed, but also gives us a better starting point for the valve job and bowl area. Bronze liners give us a better than stock valve guide and allows for a tighter stem to guide clearance. This will help keep the boost pressures from leaking past the valves when they are open.
- A cleaned, baked, blasted, and pressure tested set of heads
- Machined deck surface good for an MLS head gasket (or stock).
- Port matched, reshaping, polishing, and blending to give the best flow
- Considerable reshaping to the exhaust port for improved flow at higher than .300" lift points.
- Stainless valves, modified for flow. 1.8"/1.52"
- Reconditioned valve guides with bronze liners. Sized to spec clearance with the new valves.
- 5 angle valve job on the intake seat, 3 angle valve job on the exhaust, 2 angles on the valves
- LS Style Seats and seals
- Machined spring seat pockets to allow for higher lift cams.
- Comp 26918 Valve Springs
Options
- Time-Sert for Rocker Arm Bolts. This is a useful upgrade for the 8mm rocker arms used after 2002. While not common, there have been rockers that get stripped out of the heads. This option will eliminate the possibility.
- CBX Thermal Coating for combustion chamber and valve faces. Great for motorsports applications, this coating will help keep the heat in the exhaust rather than being absorbed into the piston and cylinder head.
